NCL Gem

She's an older more traditional cruise ship lending itself to the elegance of the cruising experience.  Although she offers both the Splash Academy and Entourage for the pre adult travelers she's void of the bells and whistles that generally attract a younger crowd.

 

Having been refurbished in 2022 our expectation was that the ship felt refreshed and modern, and this was the case for the common areas.  However we found the Stateroom was clearly overdue for those upgrades.

Our Stateroom, 11028, was a Club Balcony Suite.  It was clean and well equipped, but showing its age (eg; no USB ports and small older TV).
